E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\RailWorks\TempDump\ Exception Code: 0xC0000005 Exception Info: OUT OF MEMORY Fatal error in mode FRONTEND. The system is unable to run this scenario on the current configuration, we suggest either lowering the graphical quality settings or attempting to run the game in the 64-bit version, if this fails to resolve the issue please contact our Customer Support Team at https://dovetailgames.freshdesk.com
Have you done what it says? "please contact our Customer Support Team at https://dovetailgames.freshdesk.com"
thankyou captain obvious, yes I have however, as it currently stands I cannot get the game to even run as a clean install from Steam it Loads the main menu and instantly crashes to steam no log file no nothing
You would be amazed at the amount of people who don't contact the Support Desk. You have not mentioned what your computer and Graphics Card specs are. Was the game running ok until recently? Can you start the game in 32bit via the Steam Client?
I can't remember the exact file that does it, but is the file that saves the game's settings backed up to the server by any chance? If so, that could have something to do with it after a clean install, but I'm not certain.
Are you subscribed to any workshop scenarios? If so unsubscribe from them first before doing the clean install, if it is a dodgy workshop scenario then it will be downloaded with the clean install possibly causing issues
i only ever use the game in X64 my syestem is of the following for basics Ryzen 5 2600 hexocore CPU @3.4~3.9Ghz 32Gb of DDR4 Ram at 3200 Mhz Gforce GTX 1650 also soooo i have finaly been able to get the game to launch however ive started gettings theyes errors now nothing should be using my "D" Drive as well it's a 100 Meg hardware res and it's there purely because windows said so so the game is "Useable" but not "as stable as ts normaly is" how i deal normaly with any issues as you see in the attacthed image is i just purge that "D" drive and it works
the clean install by literaly delteting the entire railworks folder in my steam library however, the Error reporter.exe for some resion refuses to be deleated saying it running somewhere on my syestem but checking for it over and over so i can hard close it comes to little and no avil the said clean install i was running was installed a little over a hour before comming here
might have something to do with the WVR senario pack I grabed from the workshop maybe the game has been iffy ever since i installed them close to about 3 or 4 days ago only now beeing able to launch after some fiddeling in my OS's back end
People who get that error about the D drive is because they use Windowed Mode and Borderless should be used. I think something DTG did in the last update caused problems in Windowed mode for most people.
so TS carried over my settings on borderless but the issues there but im still getting the same issues this don't make any sence at this point im questintioing it being TS being TS
You seem to be very good in ignoring what other people say. People give you lots of suggestions but you ignore them and post something else The Game crashing is due to the Consist editor failing if it finds a faulty loco/coach/wagon or a faulty reskin. Last post from me
Follow Spike suggestion from another post to have Logmate running - it is in your Railworks folder - it will find problem items.
