Would it be possible to get a route Durham to Berwick including stops at Newcastle Central, Morpeth & Alnmouth? This could be part of a route in say an East Coast Mainline North DLC which goes from York To Edinburgh then have add ons for Tyne & Wear Metro, The new Northen Line etc.
Durham to Berwick sounds stupid if I'm being honest, and also pointless. Would be better going from Newcastle to Doncaster or Edinburgh.
I was thinking of getting scenery in as entering Newcastle so Newcastle to Doncaster sounds great as you would leave southbound and the reason I suggested stopping at Berwick was because it would probably take less time to create. Something in the pipeline hopefully so we can get the whole ECML with different add ons
Newcastle to Edinburgh would be a good shout. Some good scenery along the way. Especially the clifftop run north of Berwick. Morpeth, Alnmouth with its viaduct, the Royal Border Bridge at Berwick which would be a very nice touch for TSW. More interesting than south of Newcastle imo. I do however agree the Tyne Bridge would be nice to see but south of that, apart from Durham, there’s not much more to offer.
Last month I went with the Azuma from Edinburgh to King's Cross and I would love to see another part of the ECML in TSW.. From Edinburgh to Newcastle would imo be a great addition to the game..
Newcastle to Berwick or Edinburgh but IMHO set back in the late 70’s when you could have Paxman HST’s, Deltics, Class 47’s and Class 45’s et al working the service.
Maybe bump that forward 20 years so the 91s are in service, would boost the service variation massively
