The Utrecht - Zwolle railway line is a double track electrified railway line operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS). The line is mainly operated by commuter (Sprinter) and intercity services. The length of this line is approx 90 km. Rolling stock of this line would be: NS SNG The NS SNG, which is made by CAF, is the newest Sprinter train of NS. It replaced the old double-decker trains on Utrecht-Zwolle Sprinter services, and all Sprinter trains of this line are operated by SNG trains. NS ICMm The NS ICMm is definitely one of the most iconic trainsets of NS. They are used on many IC services in the Netherlands. They are using this line on Rotterdam-Groningen IC services. NS DDZ The NS DDZ or NID trains are also used on Rotterdam-Groningen IC-services. They were firstly locomotive hauled trains, which were used mainly on Sprinter services. The NS DDZ trains were used on Utrecht-Zwolle Sprinter services as well, but when NS SNG trains entered service, the DDZ trains were removed from Sprinter services, and now they are used only on IC services.
I definitely support this! The NS Class 4000 and 4200 are one of my favourite Dutch unit and I would love to be able to drive them!
