Hi DTG, How about adding the A4 Mallard or The Duchess of Hamilton to the East Coast Mainline? I think it would be a great addition to this superb route. Let me know what you think! Sam T.
The Mallard doesn't run anymore, and whilst I'm not certain about Duchess of Hamilton, I don't think it does either.
1. Well DTG are still maintaining their stance about no further steam locos in TSW. 2. Duchess Of Hamilton is an ex LMS loco and would be more at home on WCML Over Shap. 3. If DTG did start doing steam again then in all honesty we need something more workaday and mixed traffic, maybe even a tank engine of some description or look at giving Germany or USA something.
