Overall: While this would be one of the most ambitious routes for train sim world, the amount of layering opportunities and sheer length of the route could make it one of the best selling routes yet.
There is also East Linton station, and at the point that the 801 is being adapted maybe they could make a TPE 802 too.
Great section, would be brilliant to see it in TSW however, I’m not sure TSW is up for such a section, its long & scenic, not a good match for how long routes have managed to push through in TSW so far. At best it would probably have to be a core route. currently I would say either the voyager or Lumo would be best for this routes base train along with the 801 or perhaps a different 800 series LNER.
I literally just suggested this like weeks ago lol. but i guess this suggestion only furthers my reasoning on why this route should be added! Great to see this section of the ecml getting more exposure!
London to Peterborough will likely be that part of the ECML, though could very well be a long time before it comes up.
As when suggested previously, Newcastle to Edinburgh a bit on the long side. More likely to be Newcastle to Berwick or Berwick to Edinburgh. And my personal view is that this should be set in a different era to Peterborough to Doncaster, maybe pre 1991 with Valenta HST's and the last of the Deltic fleet. (Along with 47's, 45's etc).
You're trying to bring back a TSC route into the Game. This one should be made by Just Trains which made this for TSC now TSW 4/5 if they can. Speaking of class 800 it might have a sluggish acceleration on Diesel power yet quick on AC 25kv 50hz
Aside from the picture that looks like I tried to read it without my glasses. XD Brilliant suggestion! I'd love this! Just note there are some LNER services non-stop to Newcastle as well. (0900 EDB-LGX) Apart from that yea brilliant! I'd love to see this in the game! Very scenic section as well!
