The East Coast Mainline is an arterial high speed mainline that runs parallel to the A1 road located on the eastern side of england. It runs between London King’s Cross and Edinburgh with branches to Aberdeen , Inverness, Leeds, Bradford, Hull, Skipton, Lincoln, Glasgow and Harrogate. Spanning about 393 miles, this is the second longest mainline in the uk. It has a maximum speed of 200km/hr (125mph) and is electrified with 25KV OHLE. Today i will be picking the section between peterborough and leeds. At about 100 miles, it is on the longer section when it comes to routes, but should be implantable due to a small amount of stations and loads of farmland around the area. STATIONs to be included Peterborough Grantham Newark North Gate Retford Doncaster Bentley Adwick South Elmsall Fitzwilliam Sandal and Agbrigg Wakefield Westgate Outwood and Leeds At about 10 stations and 100 miles this would make it accurate enough for train sim world 3.
