I was just wondering if you can select the London Commuter 377 instead of the East Coast way 377. I vaguely remember an update which allowed the LC 377 to be used (as it has better sounds)
Welcome to DTGs universe of 5 different versions of the same train. I recommend to use the sound mods of "itsya165", he made them for all kind of uk rolling stock. I stopped suggesting to work things out for 1x single updated locomotive in tsw. DTG maneuvred them self into such a huge mess, where the only chance to get out is with a huge personal effort, which they neither have the time nor the personal capacity to do that. Now the amount of rolling stock is too high to just change the entire foundation.
To put it simply. If you use ECW you get the old sounds however if you go to BML you have the new sounds.
As much as East Coastway is such a fantastic TSW route, it's a real shame it doesn't have the updated London Commuter version. This, along with a few other important issues such as missing Victoria-Eastbourne/Ore services in timetable mode, lack of scenario planner options and no added AI traffic at Brighton from London Commuter etc are all things that DTG should have sorted out years ago with this route.
