The recent roadmap has said: "Currently, Rivet Games are also investigating any further changes to the East Coastway route alongside this pack, and we'll keep you updated once we can confirm and share more news" So I thought we could create a list of things that would be nice to see: Difficulty: Fairly Easy (should ideally come with at least these) Platform announcements - since these are a TSW 6 core feature, I hope these will be present Updating the original class 66 and 377 with the latest features - better rain, suspension, conductor mode, train announcements and faults (maybe also include the class 313, though that was a separate DLC) ToD4 - ECW doesn't have many underground sections, only a few tunnels, so hopefully this wouldn't be too difficult Difficulty: Moderate (nice to have) Remastered scenery - this would be even better, but would be more difficult and may be out of scope for a loco pack Difficulty: Hard (unlikely) Extension to Ashford International - this would be the best option but the least likely, since extending a route for free just for a loco pack probably doesn't make sense. However, if Rivet make more routes in the future, a new route, East Coastway Extended: Brighton - Ashford International, would be nice to see. This could be similar to Isle of Wight version 2, though this would be a lot more effort than remastering the first IoW. What things would other people like to see?
I'd be more than happy with the route as it is upgraded to ToD4 and TSW6 features. Anything else would be gravy.
In addition to those upgrades, a very important one for the rolling stock is: Upgrading the sounds of the 377 to the BML variant (AP sounds) and the 66 to the TSW3-present (SEHS etc.) variants (again AP sounds) as they desperately need updated.
It’s one of the golden oldies (this route). I’m glad Matt acknowledged the feedback on this route getting some form of upgrades. I think scenery wise this route still holds up pretty well, it’s just missing the TOD4 treatment. Once we get that, we’ll be happy sailors. Extension: How about a detour at Lewes heading to Gatwick Airport. It’s a different branch line as opposed to heading there on the Brighton to London Victoria route.
