Having sorted pretty much all of the OOM errors on my system, I've come across something interesting. Playing East Midlands Coal (CreativeRails), in 50% of the times playing Tuxford Central - Shirebrook Depot, about 20 mins into the scenario I began to lose keyboard controls. The wipers would shut off and could not be activated neither by pressing V nor clicking the switch. The brake would only work using the mouse. A few minutes later the Escape key would stop working. As this scenario uses default Kuju Class 37 I could rule out anything loco/input mapper related. So out of curiosity I opened the template route file which determines the skies used. Some kind of intuition lead me there... And what did I see? An empty <Product> entry only in the Autumn section leading to an invalid path. I fixed that by inserting RailSimulatorCore as for the other seasons. Cleared cache, restarted - and it seems the bug is history. Interesting how things you wouldn't think of have unpredictable effects.
When you say template route file are you referring to RouteProperties.xml? If not then can you let me know which file I'm looking for, My EMC RouteProperties.xml doesn't have the missing product btw.
Reef, the template route overrides what is defined in the RouteProperties.xml skies section, editing the latter will not have an effect. The RouteProperties.xml points to the template, just a few lines above what's displayed in your screenshot. You'll find it under Assets\CreativeRail\EastMidlandsCoal\TemplateRoutes\EastMidlandsCoal.bin in the EastMidlandsCoalAssets.ap.
I had a feeling I was looking in the wrong file, made slightly more confusing by the fact it's the same text in both, lol Good find and I've edited it in my EMC now too, thanks.
Bumping this to add that this also fixes the issue with the missing sky object textures and overly bright colours in autumn, as posted on the Steam forums. https://steamcommunity.com/app/24010/discussions/3/3552805589786995283/ I've uploaded the fix as an .rwp file. Just unzip and install the RWP with Utilities.exe or your preferred method . Fix is compatible with AP Skies.
