INTRODUCTION Today I will be suggesting Crewe- Newark Castle operated by East Midlands Railway (owned by Transport UK East Midlands Limited). This route will have 25 stations in total and will be 67 miles (108km) long. THE ROUTE The route starts in Crewe, located in Cheshire, ending at Newark Castle, located in the East Midlands. The safety systems used are TPWS/AWS. 220/0 220/1 The class 222 meridian manufactured by Bombardier Transportation as part of the Voyager family built from 2003 - 2005 27 if these 5 and 7 car trains were built with 23 222/0s and 4 222/1s the maximum speed of this train is 125 mph (200 km/h) and the safety systems used are TPWS/AWS. Would make more sense running through to Lincoln than ending at Newark. Of course the hitch is a large overlap with the existing MML. Suspect if this area was considered, given the scope of TSW routes more likely to be Crewe to Derby or Nottingham to Lincoln (on to Grimsby would be good).
