The Poacher Line and Nottingham to Grantham line is a 78 Mile or 125km line that operates from Nottingham, Grantham and Skegness stopping at 19 stations along the route and is operated by the East Midlands Railway. Trains on this line are purely DMUs, operating train sets of Class 153 and 156 Super Sprinter, Class 170 Turbostar and Class 158 Express Sprinter. Stations stops include: Nottingham Netherfield Radcliffe Bingham Aslockton Elton & Orston Bottesford Grantham Ancaster Rauceby Sleaford Heckington Swineshead Hubbert's Bridge Boston Thorpe Culvert Wainfleet Havenhouse Skegness Train Sets: Class 153 Super Sprinter Class 156 Super Sprinter Class 158 Express Sprinter Class 170 Turbostar On busy summer days, the Class 43 HST with a set of Mk 3 coaches are also operated between Nottingham and Skegness, though I'm not sure if these are still in service
An excellent suggestion which brings in the pacer and Turbostar family to the game. These units are everywhere in the UK (outside of London) and much needed to reduce dev time on future routes
This route is a good suggestion but the HST’s for EMR are sadly retired. Though if you set the route before 2020 then you could be on to something
Set it five years ago. All the above would still have been working then with very few changes to the route overall
