Anyone found some cool surprises on the line. Noticed Gatwick express 387 on the ecml section

Spawn in to Haringey around 08:03 or take a service that will get you to the station on time to look at the ECML you will see the AI Scotsman pass.

If you set the date to June and go to Upper Holloway around 15:35, Flying Scotsman will pass through on a light engine movement with it's support coach on it's way to the junction for the ECML.

Interested in seeing what other Easter Eggs are though.

There’s a 66 rail tour which passes you if you do the 33 rail tour from the timetable.

That's actually quite a nice service to do, you get the 66 railtour go past and then the light engine Class 66 close after, even if it does mean you get held for a while to wait for them and a Class 710 Service heading for Gospel Oak.

Yeah it’s fun but hell of a wait at the start. At least there’s interesting things to see going past!

I find it gives you plenty of time to set up both locos as you like them - I often like to shut the rear locos engine off, so the long wait gives me plenty of time to shut it off as well as set up the tail lights etc.
It also means you can get a good amount of shots of the 66 tour passing and the LL 66 and obviously the usual 710s!

Just making sure you knew - you can drive the 66 tour.. I only say as it sounded like you didn't know you could drive it.. I'm not assuming you didn't know but thought I'd say just in case.

(I did notice something with the 33 when being driven by the AI.. for some reason the AI won't turn on the headlights, I've not seen this on any other routes so I'm not sure why it only does it on this route?)

Thanks, hadn’t realised you could drive it. Guess that’s my next service to do.

Yeah, it's 1Z30 I believe, I forgot where it goes to but I know it comes from Crewe. :)
(you can only take it as far as Barking in the game though)

If you have the 1938 Bakerloo stock, at certain times it appears on the LT lines at Barking, run through without stopping.

Bet it would stop if there was an obstruction on the line, like say a conveniently parked class 66

There’s an EMT HST that spawns on the NLL west of Gospel Oak, and runs empty up to the Harringay junction for the ECML. You can ride it by jumping to seats.

what do you mean jumping onto seats? Is this a keybind I'm missing or some strategy to board moving trains?

If it doesn't stop at any signals, spawn something in front of it so that it stops, open its door, quickly delete the train you spawned and jump into the cab

I found a path that leads to a bench that you can sit on and watch action on the ECML .just spawn on foot at the depot not far away and walk up just before the overpass you will see a dirt path that you can walk up to the bench ..
