The PC editor timetable creation has been uploaded today on trainsim community: It can be found here: https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/mods/c3-train-sim-world/c111-timetables/i4923-ecml-1998-v10 Here is some info regarding my creation: This timetable has been in production since November. I was inspired by one of my old spotting books from 1998. Post privatization era timetables / scenarios have by and large been overlooked, even in TS Classic there isn’t an abundance of timetables. I’ve created by myself from scratch and has taken a lot of time to master the intricacies is UE4 editor. Where possible it is modelled on the actual passenger and freight timings, but with AI it’s never going to be perfect. My biggest hurdle was getting the livery’s into the game from the creators club. ** Yes it is possible to import livery’s from Creators club!** (I will be posting about this in next few days) For me this era was the most interesting time on Britain’s railways, the livery mixes (painting the class 31’s reverse engineering the model was a nightmare!) , the loco classes (I’ve still got to add more) and the main thing , NO CLASS 66s (YEY!) I hope you enjoy a taste of 1998. Known issues: On first start up after install, the HST and Class 37s don’t have a picture in the game menu, the loco’s work fine and after the first run the icons re-appear. Can’t spawn on foot, it just defaults back to the normal game, don’t’ know why, not a real priority. I can’t get the 31’s&47’s to be player drivable with a user created livery….still working on that I’ve turned off all checkpoints for the freights as personally I find them distracting, obey the signals! Obviously there isn’t any 56’s, 58’s, 89, 91, 156’s, 144’s, 308’s, 321’s models available (yet), so I’ve done the best I can with the assets available, in 1998 GNER only had left 9 HST sets on there books. Timing's as I say is best the I could do, with 598 paths to juggle with, I haven’t tested every path from start to end, but hopefully they all drive as they should, if you have any issues, drop a message Hopefully I can take a few days off from simulating this timetable, as it currently takes 2h35 to run!! For those of us who were around spotting the late 90s, I hope it brings back some fond memories. I suggest running 4L85 for your first trip, you’ll get the idea what it’s all about. Lastly many thanks to everyone who created livery’s in the creators club / trainsim community that I’ve used, too many to mention, all of your efforts are greatly appreciated and I hope I’ve done your creations justice, if you want me to credit you drop me a message.
