So basically we are spoiled for WCML route choices. I mean soon the Trent valley line is gonna connect literally everything. What about that we go to the opposite direction, to the east? I know that we have Doncaster-Peterborough but nowadays with new standards, I think another ECML route would be really good. My suggestion is from Newcastle to Edinburgh via Berwick upon Tweed and Morpeth. You’re also driving (mostly) along the coast and holy is it nice there. Or to connect things a little bit up, From Doncaster to Newcastle. I know, it’s quite a stretch but I mean stuffing in LNER with maybe TransPennine is gonna be entertaining and also really diverse(I’m not really sure if TransPennine operates this branch). I mean not easy to stuff 120 miles but Trent valley line is also gonna be kinda the same length. And let’s be for real, there are many that wanted to drive big distances and a long route. I think ECML Doncaster-Newcastle would be the best
