Thinking about something new, something unique yey somehow pretty familiar? Think no further! This route would be a perfect future DLC candidate for Train Simulator 2020, it has everything one would expect from a decent passenger route.

    The line opened in 1850.

End to end journey time is about 4 hours and 22 minutes on the full operating section, shaving journey times between the two cities. Trains are running at speeds of up to 200 km/h under numerous tunnels and bridges.

It is certainly a standard gauge line (1435 mm) and is protected by the familiar PZB/Indusi system. The line is electrified by single-phase 25 kV 50 Hz AC OHLE.

Please review this as a possible future DLC for Train Simulator 2020 so that we can experience what it takes to shuttle our InterCity 225 and British Rail Class 800 between London and Edinburgh.

Well given the guy who put it together isn't a DTG employee, and it took a large amount of work it's not likely to be a free product.
The DLC are all available separately from steam anyway and are requirements for the merge to work so you'd have to buy them all either way

I can understand that people might not want to sign up to subscribe to other third party sites, but it's a question of how much you want the route.

As it is comprised of separate DLCs that are all already available you could drive it in parts and do the full length. I mean, you've gotta go for a pee sometime so may as well go while the next route is loading up :)
