The ECML South Is a LIne running from London kings cross to Peterborough. I am also suggesting that the Northern city line,Hertford Loop and The Fenn Line Train to be used on this route Suburban Class 387 This Train is used on the Fenn Line and doing Express to Cambridge and stopper onwards from London Kings X to Kings Lynn and Ely Class 700 The /0 Would do Services from London Kings X to Cambridge and Letchworth The /1 Would do Services from Findsbury park To Peterborough and Cambridge Class 717 This Train would do Services From Moorgate to Welvyn Garden city, Morning/Evening peak Services to Gordon Hill and Hertford North and Stevenage
Good idea but where's the intercity traction at , ECML South needs something fast to supplement the slower services
Intercity Class 800/801 These trains would oporate a same timetable so they can substitute each other if they dont stop at peterborough they would have to unrealistically in the fastliness as a take over point Class 802 This train would oporate a express to peterborough service not stopping at steveange but unrealistically be stopping in the fastlines as a take over point Class 803 This train would do express service to steveange then would be Ai Onwards till the end at peterborough
Timetable Ideas I am suggesting 3 timetable for this route 1) The normal daily service to/and from Kings X and Moorgate 2) Moorgate diversion services. This would see trains from Moorgate terminate at Kings cross 3) Hertford Loop diversion. This would see All the fast trains diveerted via Hertford North
Honestly bring on a ECML with the Intercity 225 and the 800 and you have me sold, i don’t even mind what part of the mainline, we just need more iconic BR trains
DLC #1 Class 91+MK4 DVT (Intercity swallow LNER) The 91 would do the services going northbound and The DVT Doing services southbound The Loco would also have a Blunt end of it so that can also be substituted for the 91
DLC #2 2014 ECML This pack would include Suburbanwise Class 313 This train would do services from Moorgate to Welvyn Garden city, Gordon Hill (Peak only), and Hertford North With 1tph extended from Hertford north to Letchworth Garden city Class 365 This train would do services from London Kings cross To Peterborough,Cambridge and express services to Kings Lynn (stopper from Cambridge onwards) Class 321 This train would do Semi-fast and fast services From Kings X to Peterborough and Cambridge Class 317/1 This train could be a substitute for the 321 and do the odd Service to Hertford north from King
INTERCITY Class 43 This train would do Kings cross to Inverness,Aberdeen and the one a day Glasgow central Class 91+DVT This Train would do Kings cross to Edinbrugh,Newcastle,Leeds and York With all the services mentioned above having to stopn at peterborough and The DVT services to London Kings cross Class 180 This train would do hull trains services to hull but having to stop at peterborough
Would love to see the ECML no matter the era. I don't think the loop or fen line are realistically going to included as just Peterborough to Kings Cross is 76 miles which is already pushing it especially the amount of stations and built up area which would have to be modeled. A good suggestion though mate!
Yes I would love ECML and couldn't care less about the era. WCML would only slightly appeal to me if done with the old electrics.
