Something I’d personally be happy to pay for is a remaster of the East Coastway route and an extension to Hastings or Ashford International. As part of this, the Southern Class 171 would be provided to utilise the extension of the route, which we’d be able to drive from Brighton to Ashford, giving a complete end to end service experience. The route and timetable would be set around the 2017 era, as the 171s were still running into Brighton at this point. Layering in wise for drivable and AI only, we’d have the Thameslink Class 700, Southern Class 377, 313 and 171, as well as the Gatwick Express Class 387. We’d also have SouthEastern Class 375s and 395s. What are your thoughts on this suggestion?
I would like to see this also, my preferred option is extended to Ashford International. It seems a waste to have Ashford modelled and then not re-use it in another route. It would also allow route hopping to SEHS. I think it would be also nice to include the ≈9 mile Dungeness branch, then Skyhook's upcoming cargo line nuclear pack could layer on I am wondering if one of Tyler's projects is an ECW timetable since he has already done one as a mod, though the problem with that is I'm not sure Rivet would do a route extension
Would love it. ECW is one of my favourite routes. An extension and bringing it up to the latest standard would be amazing. If it could be connected to London Commuter too, that would be even better.
As stated elsewhere, I totally agree but also bring attention to the missing Wivelsfield branch which absolutely should be included as part of the same project.
Good shout but I would also like to see a classic DEMU pack (205 & 207) for the Ashford to Hastings section.
