Hi thanks for looking. I'm trying to embed the tracks into the terrain so they are not sitting on huge mounds of ballast but im running into some problems (please see video below) I've lowered the tracks into the terrain but as you can see there are sections of track that have gone below the terrain and sections of track that are still above it. a lot of sections i can sort out using lower or raise terrain. But as you can see in the video, there are certain points where its impossible to get the result i'm after. I've tried changing the brush to circular, changing the brush size, brush speed all to no avail! Could the snap to track terrain tool be used to do this some how? Or am i barking up the wrong tree? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> Thanks.
Use the snap to track terrain tool. Anything that cant do will require manual adjustment or using objects to mask stuff (such as embankments)
Thanks for the input cactus. But what i was trying to do was get rid of the ballast mounds. If you look at the vid below, you can see the sleepers are embeded into the embankment. Not sitting on a mound of ballast like modern railways.
I see sleepers sitting on ballast. I am totally confused with what you are actually trying to accomplish here
The track im using the sleepers sit on top of the ballast like this Like a newly laid track but i want them to look like this thanks.
