Hallo everyone, I was really happy with everything what TSW 4 offered. And an editor, really great stuff. Maybe I try it when I have enough time. (I know it's difficult to use and you need a little bit of prior knowledge of the enreal engine). But in the middle of the presentation of the editor JD said that the editor is only downloadable on the Epic Store. ( I know the Unreal Engine is build by Epic ). But my whole collection is on Steam. I not really sure what that means for me: Can I download the editor from Epic und use it with my steam collection and game? Do I need to buy the game on Epic to, to download the editor? Can I use the player content from the editor with my steam game? I wanted to preorder, but now I will wait. And if I can't use the Editor and the content with Steam, maybe I will quit the hole game and just stay with SImrail. I will not buy the game two times or buy my whole collection new! Maybe someone knows more or can help to answer thesequestions. You all have a great evening. =)
You should be able to yes. The unreal editor is always only through the Epic launcher. You can edit Conan Exiles on steam with their Unreal launcher through Epic for example.
That sounds great, I really hope you are right. I hope Dtg is answering the questions on a livestream or Q&A before the launch.
It's how it is with every single Unreal Engine game, the editor is always on Epic, as it's their engine.
How does sharing work (apologies if you've covered this on stream, haven't had a chance to watch) - and, can console players access user-made content via CC or whatnot? Asking for a friend
It is pc only and can only be shared among pc players. They probably have plans to bring it to consoles at some point, but I would have to rewatch the livestream to hear what they said exactly.
