    It has been discussed on other threads. What's happening here in a nutshell is that on a descending grade, the altitude of the fog-sphere's origin point never descends with the track, so that your loco sinks into the opaque part of the cloud. In other words, the issue is with the fog effect programming.

    yes, but in time, waiting for the fix you can just use the solution proposed by me
    I'm sure only a few know about it and the rest are driving in zero visibility

    when you reset the settings - it fixes itself, despite going downhill
