I think the next UK route should be a modern electric route. I think it will be popular. Like Brighton mainline, West Coast Mainline, Southeastern mainline, High Speed 1 or any other electric route on the uk rail network.

I 100% agree. I do like all 3 UK routes so far but they are all diesel and I find the American and German electrics to be the most fun to drive. I mean they have showcased some of the variety in Britain in what we have so far (modern day diesel, heritage and old school set in 1983!) so electric is the next step. I'd love to see some of the Brighton mainline routes as you said, but I would also like to see the Cross City Line in Birmingham or one of those routes around Glasgow.

I’d love to see a modern electric route from the UK. My wallet is waiting.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I fully agree!
TSW need UK electric, catenary or 3° rail, like south west trains class 444, APT and Class 390.

Don’t think it works like that to be honest, it’s what licences DTG can acquire.

Oh well, Thimes Link can be great! Same for class 700!
If I’m not wrong DTG have a virgin rail license, so I think that in future we will see pendolinos

They have Southern and Gatwick Express stuff, so they should have licenses for those operators at least. That means they should be able to do Thameslink stuff too, but they haven't in TS either, so maybe it doesn't.
