I am aware that this is a very much suggested route but here what I think of it. we should the full Elizabeth line including the section off to Abby wood and Heathrow. Upon realise players should have the option to drive the class 345 like they would in real life this includes ato and auto reverse however players should be able to turn this off. Along with the class 345 at release there should also be the class 801 in gwr livery and the class 387 in both gwr and Heathrow express livery. Oh you can’t forget the class 66 between reading and Old Oak Common and shenfield and Stratford. Whilst most These only run on the great western main line it adds verity to game and gives players to drive others service apart from those run by the class 345. I also think it would be good to include the Romford to Upminster line. DLC: at release the RHTT, class 37/7, and 710 should all be timetabled in to the game for players who already own theses. I think we also should see the class 720 and 745 as the greater Anglia dlc given players more service to drive between Liverpool Street and shenfiled. Along with the addition of a class 315, 360 & 321 dlc class 90 & HST DLC class 332 and class 166 dlc to add so history to the route. For players who buy or already have the class 166 I would also like to service up and into Greenford if that not enough let’s talk about AI trains. For players how have all dlc we should have AI class 710, 720 and 745 running out of Liverpool Street towards Hackney downs. A class 720 leaving 10 and 11 at Stratford towards Lea Bridge and class 710 from platform 1&2 at Stratford to fill in for the class 378. As well as this we should have AI southeastern and Thames link trains in the Abby wood area. i feel like this would be a really good route to do with a lot of potential to it and I really hope we see this route in game in the near future.
trainspottingfan12 Similar to your suggestion! heathrow - I think people said DTG can't do heathrow for security reasons gwr licence - The consensus is DTG holds no GWR licence currently. I hope this changes, as I would like a modern section of GWE too. length - do you know how long the sections you've proposed are in km? It sounds like it may be too long for DTG at this stage, so if you propose a smaller section it may be more likely to come to fruition. I'm not familiar with these routes, so they may also be fine length wise.
I have that they can’t do Heathrow for security reasons but personally I don’t see what the problem is the only access we will have is the platform and as for the length and license I’m hoping if there enough support from fans that DTG can make something happen it is big route and is the equivalent of 3 routes together but it would bring a lot to game and would be a huge milestone
The part between Reading and London Paddington will not be recreated for the Elizabeth Line. If anything, it would remaster the current GWE route with the 345 as a driveable train.
I mean, it is possible, and they've done it once already. The chances of them doing it a second time, however, are next to none.
Its not negative, its realistic. They've only recreated a route from scratch once, not likely to do it again.
