The EMD F59PH is a four-axle 3,000 hp (2 MW) B-B diesel-electric locomotive built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division from 1988 to 1994. A variant, the F59PHI, was produced from 1994 to 2001. The F59PH was originally built for GO Transit commuter operation in the Toronto region. Metrolink in Southern California also purchased a fleet for its 1992 launch. The streamlined F59PHI was designed for Amtrak California intercity service. A total of 72 F59PH and 83 F59PHI locomotives were built. Metrolink Go-Transit Metra Start Up Sound
Odd to suggest a loco that we don't even have a route for (Maybe Oakville, but doesn't seem like DTG has a GO License)
US Passenger wise, let's see: -Amtrak (NEC, because of the City Sprinter) -Caltrain (Peninsula Corridor) -MBTA (Providence Line, aka Boston Sprinter) -MTA (Both LIRR and MNR) -NJT (from Creators Club) Everyone else so far that we know, zilch. Even on Oakville the stations are there, but no GO Transit brand anywhere. Just a few machines in white and green colors, unbranded.
I would also throw in NJT, as they allowed their stuff on the Creation Club, I would assume they will have a route for TSW2 in the future at some point.
This is a good point actually. Since there's no route for NJT for now, doesn't mean it's still on DTGs license list. Nearly forgot about that. [updated previous post]
