PC En/pl Switch On Db Br 185.2

there is a en/pl switch, what does it do? I can't find anything on the Internet. Not for English/polish I assume.

PS. It would be good if developers could provide a simple explanation on each button

 

electric/pneumatic. basically chooses the use of either the electric (motor) brake or air pressure brake

also they misspelled it, should be el/pn

 

This is not about the electric (motor) brake, but about whether the indirect brake is controlled electrically - the signals from the indirect brake handle (FbV) are passed to a computer which then controls the pressure in the main brake pipe -, or if the main brake pipe is controlled by the FbV directly.
Pn should just be used, when there is some problem with the electric indirect brake control and is not intended for normal day operation.

Don't even know if that's correctly implemented in TSW though.

It definitely does *something*, though how well or how correctly it is implemented is something I don't recall at the moment. I have vague memories of it influencing the way an ICE (1??) brakes under LZB-commanded AFB, but that was playthroughs months ago...

 

AFB only works with brakes in el-control in real life.
