So i drive all routes in tsw using what i call a 'front nose view' on external cameras.. by which i mean before every journey i set the camera up at the front of the train on the outside, looking ahead at the track This is an example of what i mean: IMG_4526 by KatiaBLR posted Sep 13, 2023 at 1:17 PM IMG_4527 by KatiaBLR posted Sep 13, 2023 at 1:17 PM i have done this for years as i really prefer to see the surrounding and the scenery while driving.. and not only a small proportion of it through the cab. i just wondered if it would be possible in a future update to make this a selectable option to drive with? As currently before every single journey i have to manually set the camera like this.. which isn't really an issue but it would be nice if there was a simple option to select a 'front external view' to drive all routes/trains with. i'm not saying this should replace any current way of playing.. just an addition for those that would like to play the game this way. This is the way i have always played the game and it would be nice if this was a built in feature.
Support this, particularly on stock like Electrostars with their limited view. Similar to MSTS where you could remove the cab mask from view.
thank you! i honestly don't think i could drive the electrostars without doing this with the camera.. same for the class 385 on edinburgh to glasgow, i personally like to enjoy the scenery of each route and driving them with a 'front nose external camera' view is key for me doing that!
It’s my favourite view of driving much more fun. Currently on Marseille line and the at 320kph on front outside view is epic. Please dovetail can this be created as option.
