I saw a train at Blue Anchor it at 17:30 and it has reversed down to Minehead and it is sat on the turntable at the back coach has gone the through the buffers
This is the train which leaves Blue Anchor at 17.32 and terminates at Minehead. It definitely isn't reversing, but when it gets to Minehead and completes passenger loading, it uncouples from the carriages and pulls up to the buffers. It gets within a few inches of the buffers when being driven by AI, but it doesn't go through them. More interesting is the other train at Blue Anchor, which also departs at 17.32 heading to Bishop's Lydeard. When I waited at Blue Anchor for it to arrive, it was being pulled by a class 08. I then noticed that there are a few timetabled passenger services during the day which can be driven with a class 08 or class 09, but can't be driven with a class 52 or class 47. It seems a bit strange that someone who brought the class 52 as an add-on, for example, wouldn't be able to use it for those.
