Epic Game Store Having A Major Outage

so yeah, right now (December 2nd, 2023) Epic is having a major outage on everything except their actual website. Can't launch the PC editor. I was kinda looking forward to refining my track laying skills today. May have to go outside and touch grass or something.

no problem, I needed the laugh. I think I will edit it, though!

 

It sure is having an outage but I found a workaround. If you unplug your network cable, the launcher will start in offline mode and you can access the editor that way .

 

don't make me crawl under my desk and push out my PC, just do this

 

Prolly due to the fortnite event that happened earlier today about 2 hours before i posted

 

glad to see they're up and running again, no more need to juggle our internet connections between off to start Epic, and then back on to get the Google overlays going.
