    Hi all!
Is there any way to modify non ETCS trains to include the system? I have the CT ICNG which includes ETCS, so I have the assets/code for it. I couldn't find a good tutorial on how to change systems.

I don't think you can retro-fit a loco as you would not have the cab displays for the ETCS.
And I think the ETCS has to be written in to the scripts of the loco/units

    Unless somebody knows better?

Also needs routes fitted with transponders, apart from a loco script rewrite and implementation of the ETCS display into the model.

Best to play Zusi3 for ETCS implementation.

I do have the cab display. And the script is not really the problem.

Why is the script not a problem as it is normally compiled in a way that cannot be altered?
And how do you know if the loco has a way of seeing the ETCS If the loco is not fitted with it?

It can be altered, but you need to know how. There's tutorials on YT and tools for that.

That's good to know. Do you have recommendations?

Cause I know my way around some scripting, the other things I have never done before.

    1. It's not that easy (depends on your skills), and needs manual reconstruction of missing data sometimes.
    2. It's a violation of the EULA to reverse engineer or disassemble any part of the code.

So, do your own research and find a method that suits you.
