Someone sent me an anonymous email yesterday suggesting that I try running TS2020 after I'd physically unplugged my pc from the internet. Sounded like a very strange idea to me but I have just done it and IT'S WORKED!!!!! I actually got a train running. Only tested for a few seconds but it actually worked.

I quit that drive, plugged the ethernet cable back in and then started another quick drive and bam, Out of Memory. Off to do more testing but in the meantime give this a try, actually physically disconnect from the internet, don't just switch it off in Windows (although I've not actually tested that myself)

    This works for me too.
It's really annoying that this is the only way to fix it.

When you start your Steam Client go to the top line and click on Steam > Go Offline
Your computer is still on the Internet but the game is not - any updates would wait until you next changed the settings

So Dovetail are up to their usual trick - release a buggy game, let users "fix" it and blame everyone but themselves. AMATEURS
