Hi everyone, my suggestion for TSW4 is to add the Stadler Euro 9000 (also known as Euro Dual). The Stadler Euro 9000 is a six-axle dual-mode locomotive which can run on electrified line in 15 kV AC and 25 kV AC as well as 1.5 kV DC and 3 kV DC. It can also run on non electrified lines. The Euro 9000 have a top speed of 160 km/h (100 mph), a traction power of up to 9 MW and a hauling capacity of 500 kN up to 65 km/h (40 mph). This locomotive can be used on both freight and passenger traffic (even if it’s mainly used for freight). This machine can run on Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium and in the Netherlands. Some version can also run in France and Spain, in Turkey, in Norway,... This locomotive is used by DB, Green Cargo, Captrain, ELP, HHPI, Rail Force One,... The Euro 9000 is equipped with several safety systems such as the ETCS (European Train Control System) (not sure if it’s level 1 or 2), PZB and all the systems for Belgium,… The Euro 9000 can be a great addition to TSW3 especially on Schnellfahrstrecke Kassel-Würzburg, it can be also nice on a new timetable for Hauptstrecke Hamburg-Lübeck or for Nahverkehr Dresden-Riesa (it can replace the DB BR 363 for shunting operations). To achieve its full potential, it would be necessary to create a line equipped with ETCS. Here are some links about the Stadler Euro 9000 : https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stadler_Eurodual https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stadler_Euro_Dual https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stadler_Euro_Dual https://www.stadlerrail.com/en/products/detail-all/euro9000/474/
Nice suggestion. This Loco does not come with LZB equipment, though. It would therfore not be allowed on KWG under normal ops.
I have got refs for all of the rolling stock for the Eurotunnel and for the 9000 please let me know if you want any
