Hello Dovetail! Buenas tardes DovetaiL! Today I come here to suggest you a route of the best railway companies in the world, RENFE ESPAÑA. The suggested route is a high speed one, but not a normal high speed, that isn't an AVE, thet is a Euromed. Euromed is RENFE daytime high-speed rail service that connects the Mediterranean coast, with daily routes between Catalonia and the Valencian Community. Euromed has 12 daily services –and certain Talgo train reinforcements depending on demand–, between the cities of Barcelona, Tarragona, L'Aldea-Amposta-Tortosa, Valencia, Alicante and Castellón de la Plana. I think making the part of Castellón de la Plana, L'Aldea-Amposta-Tortosa it will be a ver nice route because that zone in Spain is very beatiful and the distance of the route is from 100km aprox. Euromed is the trade name for a high-speed rail service, formerly served by a 101 series train identical to the AVE 100 series, with bogies adapted to the width of the Iberian track (1,668 mm) and dam of current adapted to 3000 V of direct current. The commercial speed of these trains was of 200 km / h, being the maximum of 220 km / h, although in tests it has been gotten to surpass the 250 km / h. 6 Euromed train units were manufactured by the French multinational Gec-Alsthom.
