    Hello,

I am unsure as to whether this Route may have been suggested, but I am suggesting to implement the Eurostar into Train Sim World from London Kings Cross to Paris.

This would therefore give TSW a Eurolink and would combine the British/English section of the Route and the French section of the Route, which could also bring other Trains to the Timetable, for example, the Duplex on the French side where the Eurostar would meet this Train in Paris and the Javelin in London.

This has been suggested many a time, from what i have heard licencing is a big issue, though that would not stop someone making an unbranded version of it.

Surely the route is way too long? I'd like to see the Eurotunnel section though, maybe Ashford to Lille?

Yes, I believe that the route between Ashford International and Lille Europe is reasonable. Provided that the Class 9/9000 Eurotunnel is also added to the classic Eurostar 373/TMST. This is to give more life to the timetable, with Euroshuttle services between Folkestone and Calais.

You can always set the time period to when the Eurostar did stop at Ashford International

    Hello JackMiller,

I am new here, so I didn't know that this Route had been suggested and I didn't know about Licencing Issues, but thank you for educating me on this

    Thank You,

    Hello DRS,

The Eurolink between us, the United Kingdom and Paris is a High Speed Route and I am sure that although the distance maybe pushing it due to DTG's limitations, the Route can't be all that much further in distance than the TGV-Duplex can it? I believe the Route is Paris to Marseille?? Please correct me if i'm wrong, but that is already in the Game and the total distance of that Route is 410 Miles. The London to Paris Route is 198 miles short of that, and so if a 410 miles long Route can make it into the Game why wouldn't they be able to implement a 212 Miles long route?

Please understand that this isn't me having a go. I would just like to know more about your opinion.

    Thank You,
    Gibson

    Hello Caravatt,

I do not mean Ashford to Paris. I meant for DTG's to implement the Route from London King's Cross to Paris, and I have just explained to someone else that the TGV-Duplex Route from Paris to Marseille is 410 Miles long. The Eurostar from London to Paris is 212 miles long and so I'm sure DTG's would be able to implement that or perhaps a third party developer might.

    Thank You,
    Gibson

    Hello Jack,

I didn't mean for the Route to begin at Ashford. I meant for the Route to begin at London's King's Cross. I have explained it to others and you are welcome to read my replies to others to realise my understanding.

    Thank You,

It goes 58 miles - from Marseille to Avignon via Aix-en-Provence.

Only 1, Kassel-Würzburg at 116 miles but with only 3 stations and very few built-up areas scenery wise (mostly just trees and tunnels)

Yeah but DTG like to set their routes as modern day as possible.

It won't start there. They've already built the section between St Pancras and Ashford twice already, they won't do it a third time.

    Hello TrackingTrains,

I am sorry, I thought Avignon was the halfway point of the Route. I thought it was from Paris Charles de Gaulle TGV to Marseille (VIA Avignon) which would result in the route being 416 Miles long, but thank you for educating me in the fact that the Route is only 58 Miles long, but I do apologise it has been a while.

    Thank You,
    Gibson

    Hello DRS,

I understand that now thank you, TrackingTrains ⬆️ has helped me to see that. However, I do not see why we don't have Routes longer than 100 Miles when Train Simulator Classic on PC has a Route that has a total of 414 miles (Penzance to Edinburgh). I understand that they have to make the Route compatible with PlayStation Console requirements as they have had issues with those players before, whereas for us Xbox Series X players it wouldn't be a problem but I guess I can understand how that could complicate things for DTG.

    Thank You,
    Gibson

TSC is built different to TSW. Nothing to do with console limitations.

    Hello Jack,

Please forgive me. I'm not very intelligent technology wise and therefore, I am unsure about builds, limitations, capabilities etc, I maybe 23, but I do take your point and I am very grateful for educating me

    Thank You,

If you want to make this realistic as possible you might as well do Ashford to Paris/Brussels. Because I 've suggested the phase two of the Ashford to Köln Hbf routing the Belgian lines 36 and 37
