guard mode is the newest feature to tsw5 but i think there should be events in it like teenagers fighting or a disabled passenger or even a broken door or a man close to the tracks a drunk passenger or an emergency on the platform like a man having a panic or heart attack in this case you would need to call emergency services an get back on your way thanks for reading i don't know how to detail this but thanks
This could be a cool idea but I think DTG would have to keep it "family friendly" so probably no fighting teens, drunk passengers or passengers in need of the Emergency Services. I woud be cool to have to set-up the disabled ramp for a disabled passenger. One thing that could be a cool feature for routes with Request Stops is the chance that a passenger requests to stop at a request stop when you check their ticket
I feel like they should add this. I also think they should have a whistle to blow when the train is about to leave
Just Trains have confirmed that Over Shap will have guard mode. We should hopefully see a whistle of some kind for the loco-hauled trains or they will do the same thing they did for Blackpool Branches and have the sound of a guard blowing their whistle when an AI train is booked to depart a station
Drunkenness and fighting can simply be labelled as a "Disturbance between passengers" or an "Onboard disturbance/ incident" to maintain family-friendly language, and it can be left to the imagination of the player as to what had occurred. The mechanic of the guard mode would then require the transport police to attend the train at the next or a stop further down the line to remove the passengers. This kind of thing could also happen on AI services which will cause delays across the network of varying lengths.
