These 3 lines are some of, if not the, busiest lines in the area covered. They total up to a length of 72 miles, and would probably be one of the busier TSW2 routes. This route would be set in around early 2018, with a mix of HST's and IET's operating the GWR London to the SW expresses.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

    Proposed Rolling Stock
    • Class 43 'HST' in GWR livery[IMG]
Operated majority of GWR express services, with a mix of GWR and FGW stock and powercars, with only 2 full 8 car HST sets ever being in GWR green livery. Top speed of 125mph
    • Class 143 in GWR livery[IMG]
Operated services along the Barnstaple line as well as the majority of Paignton to Exmouth services. Top speed of 75mph and extremely bouncy.
    • Class 159 in South Western Railway livery[IMG]
Operates SWR services to London Waterloo. Top speed of 90mph. Very similar to Class 158's, which SWR and GWR have fleets of and occasionally appear in this area nowadays.
    • Class 220/221 'Voyager' in de-branded CrossCountry livery[IMG]
Operates XC services between Plymouth and the north as well as Paignton, both of which stop at Newton Abbot (junction for Paignton line). Top speed of 125mph. Would like to see them included however possible as they would leave a big gap in the timetable along the sea wall if not present at some point.

    Possible DLC
    • Cross Country HST with/without slam door Mk3's[IMG]
Operates some XC services between Plymouth and the north. Would only require a repaint of interior and exterior as well as possibly new doors. Run as 2+7 sets instead of GWR's 2+8 or 2+4 'Castle' sets. Top speed of 125mph.
    • 'Great Western Sprinters' Class 150/2 and 158[IMG][IMG]
Currently operate GWR services to Paignton, Penzance, Barnstaple, Exmouth and Cardiff Central amongst other places. Top speed of 75mph (150/2; new physics please) and 90mph (158).
    • GWR 'IET' Class 800/802[IMG]
Currently operate GWR express services. Can run on both diesel and electric power. Top speed of 125mph.

I'd personally like to see the full South Devon Main Line from Exeter to Plymouth with Paignton as a branch, instead of Barnstaple, Exmouth and Paignton as end points. That way we would get longer journeys with intercity services or most of the services would only be local stopping ones. We definitely need more GWR content however, especially a Class 143 and preferably an IET too.
