currently we end in the Steinbeck yards, just west of Wuppertal-Steinbeck platforms, but a natural continuation is to Düsseldorf skyscrapers ... what a great run it would be: from the great city to the river city and its hanging monorail, die Wuppertaler Schwebebahn ! One day, we could finish the most natural network from the pieces we have: Duisburg to Düsseldorf and Köln to Düsseldorf. Key centres in the area that we are missing might be Hamm Münster Osnabrück as Knotenpunkt of the DB. From another point of view, Dortmund with two short runs to Bochum and Hagen might be as striking an interconnect, but at less cost than Düsseldorf for modelling.
Even better how about running it all the way to the Dutch City of Venlo via Mönchengladbach. Remember if you have a multi voltage Luke motive you might need to coast from the Dutch to the German sideIf done incorrectly you're stuck
Both ruhr routes would do beautifully with an expansion, sad thing is though is that I don't see DTG revisiting these routes given by how old they are. It is from the TSW2020 days where there is even less chances of it being updated unless it's something massively game breaking.
