Hi guys, In itself, the Scenario Planner is self-explanatory, but in some places it is strange to see through. So you should press "Options" to start, but it is X and sometimes you have to take a step back first. Perceive this as inconsistent and can hardly tell whether and what is wrong now? I now know that the length of the platform determines the length of the train, but obviously there are other restrictions? How are your experiences so far? So I already drive the Baby Bullet over the high-speed route, but couldn't crack the 200. Is a fun thing. But I would also like to create meaningful tours, such as a sightseeing tour with the F40-Cat on the Sand Patch Grade - over the entire length! However, there are only three stops available over a very short distance. Somehow I don't get any further. Do you maybe know advice? Thanks and regards
I managed to get this running the full length on Sandpatch from Cumberland yard to Rockport. Had a train with 50 loaded coal wagons spawn at the other Cumberland yard marker and set the service for 12 hours from when my service started. Did some switching and ended up with 30 coal wagons. I kept disconnecting a few on the main line and ended up with about 15. It was a climb lol. As I did a freight service I didn’t choose any stopping markers, although I feel like your stopping marker choices depend on the star and end point, so even if you chose a longer start and end point you may receive fewer options.
Here I would have liked to know whether and why there are such restrictions that can only be circumvented with such bends and experiments. Surely that is not what the inventor wanted? Because the scenario planner is a great thing, but why does it have to offer other pitfalls besides train length? Instead of upgrading the livery designer, DTG should provide a round finish here.
Leading up to the launch of TSW2, they seemed to understand that the scenario planner is in a very basic form. They wanted the community to use it and suggest features added in future updates.
