This is an extended "guide" of my previous forum post about the "mysterious ICE 3M on SEH" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What's up folks. Today I wanted to, AGAIN, talk about the ICE 3M a few people in the forums already talked about, which is in the Southeastern Highspeed timetable, as an easter egg and a reference to the ICE 3M visit in London at October 19th 2010. A few past discussions were reporting the ICE 3M standing in St. Pancras Intl. when doing services or freeroaming in the timetable at October and November. NOTE: You will only be able to see the ICE 3M when starting in October or November. Any other month won't work and the ICE 3M will just not be there. Below I want to quickly list the times when the ICE 3M passes by at which station, what services of other trains you can take to see it while riding another train, and how to ride the ICE back to germany (sort of). Starting with the journey to London, the ICE 3M first passes by Ashford Intl. on it's way to St. Pancras Intl.. You can not enter the ICE (except you run towards the highspeed line and stand on the track to let the game bug you inside of it after it "runs you over"), but you can follow it by taking the Javelin at 04:22 AM, where the ICE 3M will first pass by you at approximately 04:30 AM. And if you are fast enough when driving the service on your own, you can still see it entering St. Pancras Intl. when arriving at the area before the station. NOTE: the times have been read from when it passes by those stations when starting at times where the ICE 3M is not in motion yet, which causes more accuracy of the times when the ICE will pass by each station, which also means that the accuracy of the times decreases when starting at the recommended times I put below each place (because the trains will spawn motionless on the tracks, and they need to accelerate first), so expect the ICE to have a delay of roughly 1-3 minutes. 04:25 – ICE 3M passes by Ashford Intl. Recommended start time: 04:25, or 4:20 if you want to see it pass by faster, because it appears to spawn right ontop of the bridge besides the station. 04:38 – ICE 3M passes by Ebbsfleet Intl. Recommended start time: 04:35 04:45 – ICE 3M passes by Stratford Intl. Recommended start time: 04:40 04:49 – ICE 3M arrival at St. Pancras Intl. Recommended start time: 04:45 In late night, the ICE 3M departs from St. Pancras Intl. back to the Eurotunnel, taking the same path it took on the journey to London. There are times to watch it pass by inbetweening stations aswell, and you can even take the ICE 3M back to the Eurotunnel, more on that below. 22:38 – ICE 3M departure at St. Pancras Intl. Recommended start time: 22:35 22:43 – ICE 3M passes by Stratford Intl. Recommended start time: 22:40 22:50 – ICE 3M passes by Ebbsfleet Intl. Recommended start time: 22:45 23:02 – ICE 3M passes by Ashford Intl. Recommended start time: 23:00 When starting at 22:35 in St. Pancras Intl., you can take the escalator down, and then go the hallway to the left all the way until you go up on the platform at the end, where the ICE 3M still stands. you can freely open the door, enter it and take a seat. Unfortunately, turning on the lights is not supported, and you can not take over the service anyway, so the best you can do is turn on the cab lights and take seat in the lounge behind the cab. You will also not be able to get out of it again after departure, so it's gonna be hell of a ride! You can also play the Javelin service 1J72, or take it as a passenger on platform 3, to see the ICE 3M passing by you at your stop in Stratford Intl., and if you break some rules and go way faster than allowed, you can even make the ICE stop so you can go first! Additionaly, playing service 1J73 makes you meet it on the highspeed line farther east. Peace out, hope you enjoy it.
