I would like to share with you, a big issue I suffered on my PS4.
I have an external WD disc, which surprisingly caused an "error data reading" message on the console.
Please notice I had some DLC there. Not the main game of course.

That issue caused TSW,3 to show me an unexpected screen:

Please select: Create new profile or Transfer your TSW2 one?
Including 2 big pictures of each one..

    > Bad news:
That message clearly showed me, I had lost all the scenarios and timetables I had made on TSW3!
I was on Level 465 that day.

    > Good news:
Despite I had completely deleted TSW2 on the console - in order to have more space for the new TSW3 and other games - , the console still had stored my TSW2 profile! Great!

So of course I selected this option, and I kept my profile.
As you can imagine I return to Level 351 I had on TSW2, and start over on TSW3 as the first day..

But at least I could enjoy the new sim almost immediately.

Hope this information be useful for everybody, if you have such unexpected situation.

    I have really bad news!
Once again, I lost all my points and levels on TSW3, ...due to another same situation about "Data reading error" message!

But this time was on different conditions!
After my first issue mentioned above, I had moved all the DLCs to the PS disc.
I supposed it was a problem with the external disc.
After that issue I had noticed on other games being on that device, nothing happenned at all.
    So it was strange!.

Well.. yesterday I confirmed the external disc was not the cause of that issue.
    Is TSW3 itself!

On both cases this happened when I selected a Creator's Club scenario.
But using the feature pressing on the right option, which it shows the list of all scenarios I subscribed for that route only.

    - Please note, I selected the scenario using that way, due to there you have a complete description of what the scenario is about.
If you do it by the other way - checking "My subscriptions", there you have some images, but it is not clear which is the train and route you will drive, and how many stops are in case of passenger service.
Furthermore on the other way, there are many scenarios with their description written in German, so no idea about it.

Of course this does not happens always, as I have used several times, and just happened only 2 times.

Related about why this happened, I believed it was related to some issue with the Scenario itself.
But after transferring again my TSW2 profile, - and start over from zero for the second time on TSW3 for the second time! - the first thing I did, was to try again that scenario which caused the "data error message".
    But surprisingly everything worked perfectly!
Then it is not the problem with the Scenario.

So the clear conclusion of this 2 times big problem I have suffered with TSW3, is the "data error", is caused by the game. Not the hardware!
As the first time was on the external disc, but now happened again on the console itself.

Frankly speaking as you can imagine I am really disappointing!
As I can not advance with TSW3, and have to "cross my fingers", every time I select a scenario made by someone else, I can not suffer this again, and lost all my advance with the game!

Then I kindly ask DTG to check this issue!
In case the game it has a "data reading error" - not exactly knows what this means for the game- please this not caused to start over from zero again on TSW3!
May be it indicates a message like there is an issue, please shut down and start the game again. or something like that.
But keeping all the drives you have done, and the level!

Note: I never experienced this very bad issue with TSW, and TSW2. Only with TSW3!

I´m no gaming or gaming hardware specialist. But still an electronic engineer who´s technical gut feeling tells him that PS4 is driven beyond the limits by TSW3. (Hell, even PS5 struggles here and there)
A few routes made this already clear in TSW2 (BML being the classic example here). Of course, you won´t hear this from DTG.

I´m using external disc drives as well for PS4, but for games I do not use too often or have already played. TSW2 is one single installment on a 2Tb SSD. It adds up already some 110-ish Gb. TSW3 must be the most bug infested, not-optimized and rushed out piece of SW that was ever available on PS Store. Not fragmenting it might be a good advise. And even if transferred all back to the internal storage, you won´t be able to say which portion and to what degree got already corrupted.

    Thanks for your comments.

But as I mentioned, I do not have any DLC now on the external disc.
After the first issue, I moved all to the PS4 hard disc.
Furthermore the strange thing, is this is happening only when trying to use scenarios from other users.
No problem with the DLCs - I have more than 20s - timetables or own scenarios.

The difference from TSW2 is this happens to select an Scenario from other user, on a different way as before.
I mean not searching on yours subscriptions, but selecting a route and there it shows all the ones you have subscribed.
As mentioned this is more useful, as there you have a description of it.
