as I really like to do some shunting and in the stream there was told the industry at steinau has some interesting service. I decided to give it a go to take a short brake from going up and down the kinzigtalbahn. It really made me feel like I'm back on RSN. nothing has reached that level of shunting ever since. the busyness of steinau with all the passenger and freight traffic happening is great to see too. apart from the grassy spur looking like any other german track that's not used a lot out of the station to store the wagons before moving them up the hill the scenery is absolutely terrible. I mean this looks great. But cross the road and you end up with this... Floating scenery. no foliage anywhere to be seen. and my frames went down to a steady 20 fps, the 26 is a sudden jump. overlooking this sad state of detailing I hope wasn't meant to be final seeing how the other area's look. I did the whole service. and then. parking at 08:26:30 or so. the service didn't finish. I waited a bit. then saved and loaded the service, at least my normal 100 to 80 fps is back. waited another minute. moved the loco up a few meters and stopped again. as I typed this out it's now 08:47. seems like finishing the service is not happening. this is after the release day patch.
