For some reason I can't open the GOBLIN route map in the Editor. The file is there but when I click on it to open it nothing happens. Further digging into this makes me think that I have saved a ScenarioDescription file without checking that it was still linked to its route. In theory I think I should be able to just change the file in the Editor but it won't let me do it??? So that is both a Map file and a Route Description file that won't let me edit them. Anyone have any thoughts as to why that might be. (I have tried downloading the route again but that didn't make any difference). Here is what I see trying to open and edit the Scenario Designer file. (You also need to have the route map open to be able to edit the spawn points / route names in the Scenario Designer file). Usually you just click on the route name to link the 2 files and it is simply added? Here is what I see trying to open the route map. Clicking on the highlighted icon usually opens the route screen and populates the box on the far right with a great many files. This does nothing other than to occasionally bring up a "Failed to load asset" box which you can just about see bottom right. All the other maps in my other routes appear to work fine. It is just GOBLIN that fails to work correctly. I have tried removing the route and then revalidating steam to no effect. So I am now wondering if I need to upgrade the editor once again? Does anyone have any thoughts?
2 things. 1. In your last screenshot, there is a folder called "Overlays" within the Map folder of the route. Now I ain't got Goblin to check if it's native inside there, but my guess is No since all DLCs I looked into so far, don't have it. It might be a new thing for newer DLCs, but just asking, Do you got any mods for Goblin installed? 2. The error or warning messages which appear at the bottom are just small hints for the developer that there is something wrong. If you click on "Show Message Log", Unreal shows you the complete error message. To know the full message (about what asset actually failed to load) would help a lot.
