On the Munich-Augsburg line, you get an emergency brake at any signal that shows "Go" if the following main signal shows "Expect Stop." The 1000 Hz magnet is therefore active at the main signal showing "Go." These magnets are should only be effective if the own signal indicates "Expect stop."
