How this much time can be spent making a timetable for fife circle for it to be this disappointing is shocking. They have missed out so many possibilities, which I will list below: Edinburgh-Cowdenbeath on 170 Class 350 sub for TPE running from Haymarket to Edinburgh Class 390 for Avanti running from Haymarket to Edinburgh Class 801 for LNER running from Haymarket to Edinburgh (not fully accurate, but possible) Elephant in the room - Class 220 Crosscountry from Markinch to Edinburgh There is no real excuse for not including the first 4 mentioned, but in their defence, the Voyager was announced after they'd started the timetable but if MAC can introduce them so quickly then there's no excuse for Fife/158, especially after it was delayed to TSW6 giving us false hope. The reason for Cowdenbeath not being added is beyond me, but the only reason I can think of for not including the 350, 390 and 801 is that they couldn't be bothered for the sake of 5 minute runs, but it would simply add so much more life to the timetable. With three extra trains to drive, Edinburgh would look so much more realistic. Even though it is only a 5 minute run it'd still look fun even in the background as AI whilst driving longer services. Obviously I don't expect changes tomorrow but it'd be nice to know that further improvement would be expected. It's a shame that such a good opportunity has been missed.
Would it really be worth making playable a (less than) 5 minute service between Haymarket and Edinburgh Waverley?
Interesting. I guess they can apply scenario planners off the rails mode to service mode AI? Or do AI just ignore reality and drive anyway?
The 350 is like one of the furthest trains you could have chosen, it would be slightly closer to use a 395 with a livery
To be fair the 350 in its lnwr livery stands in for tpe 350s on MAC and Cathcart Circle's 380 timetable as AI
