    Edinburgh Waverley around the Fife Circle Line, crossing the iconic Forth Bridge. Extend the route through Fife to Ladybank to incorporate the branches to Dundee and Perth, maybe even including Perth. Could also include the Suburb lines of Edinburgh.

    South Gyle
    Edinburgh Gateway
    Dalmeny
    North Queensferry
    Inverkeithing
    Dalgety Bay
    Aberdour
    Burntisland
    Kinghorn
    Kirkcaldy
    Glenrothes
    Cardenden
    Lochgelly
    Cowdenbeath
    Dunfermline town and QM
    Rosyth
    Also Markinch, Ladybank. Possibly Perth.

    Depots: Haymarket and Perth Carriage sidings

    Rolling Stock: Scotrail Class 158, 170 and/or Class 68 Mark 2s.
    LNER Or Cross Country Class 43 or 221Voyager
    Freightliner/Colas class 66 with auto balasters.

    scenarios. : All stopper service around the Fife circle using DMU. Peak time using 68
    Peak service from Dundee stopping at coastal stations to Edinburgh.
    Aberdeen to London Kings Cross LNER service or Aberdeen to Penzance Stopping at intermediate stations. Ladybank, Markinch, Kirkcaldy, Inverkeithing, Haymarket and Waverley
    Diversions via the Suburb line at Waverley, or via Dunfermline.
    Freight through Fife for ballast needed up north.
