The Fife Circle Line is the local rail service north from Edinburgh. It links towns of south Fife and the coastal towns along the Firth of Forth before heading to Edinburgh. Operationally, the service is not strictly a circle route, but, rather, a point to point service that reverses at the Edinburgh end, and has a large bi-directional balloon loop at the Fife end. The route length is about 84.69 km (52.62 mi). Service pattern Rollingstock class 158 Class 170
Good suggestion, I hope to see the Fife Circle appear on TSW at some point as we need a Turbostar represented within the game and this route is (among others) a good opportunity for that train to enter the TSW franchise Plus, you get to go over the Forth Bridge as well
Would be a day one for me(subject to who the developer was). Would prefer to push it to Dundee but would be pushing it. Nice scenic route from Dalmeny over the bridge up to Kirkcaldy & passing the end of the runway at Edinburgh Airport too, would be interesting. Gives opportunity to flesh out Edinburgh Waverley, Haymarket Depot & Glasgow QS…if Rivet put them in as layers…..
Love this suggestion! Fife circle is a must have for tsw imo! Would be brilliant to have! Specially since it would give us the much requested class 170, a modern day diesel route and a brilliant scenic route that goes over the iconic Scottish forth rail bridge! I love this suggestion, I have suggested it myself as well. As others have said, It would be better to push it out to Dundee but ethier way this route would be brilliant to have in the game. Once again, brilliant suggestion! Well done!
Congratulations! Your proposal has been inserted into the February 2024 roadmap! The whole loop will be brought to TSW4! Class 158 and 170 Confirmed.
