Did one of the parcels trains runs on BPO yesterday evening. Very nice in the morning pre dawn thrashing the Class 47, but without really trying managed to arrive in Preston 6’ early. The game then insisted on waiting the six minutes until 0600 before finishing the run and going to the debrief screen. There really is no need to keep the driver (player) hanging around until the booked time as in reality you would secure the cab and alight. The same TBH for passenger workings, once you (unrealistically) open the doors at the final station that’s the end of your involvement with the train. Not sure if it got fixed, but isn’t there a freight run on ECML where you can arrive up to 40’ early at the destination but the game makes you wait? Nothing short of ridiculous, without any means of speeding up or skipping forward you are burning electricity in non productive game time just to wait for the timetable run or scenario to finish. So can I please suggest a general change to the processes that once the train arrives at its destination the run immediately completes, in the case of passenger services once the doors are open.
And just to update as being discussed in the LIRR feedback thread, it now seems that route has several runs and scenarios which require you to spend up to 10 minutes sat basically doing nothing at the end of the trip.
