If anyone hasn't seen yet, M_E_L_O_M_A_N has just released an alpha version of a TGK2 on Train Sim Community, which I think is the first locomotive made by a modder
Nice, actually its probably the first entire new loco as mod. There was a modder named "theshotte", he released a shorter (or longer?) version of the US switcher. I think a big core update with either rush hour or tsw3, caused to brake his mods. So havent seen new content from him, also no more mods. One of his last posts was about skyhook managed to put the rear bogie on the cw44 wrong way around on the cane creek update, which was probably the final nail into the coffin
Just took it for a spin on the training centre, took a while to figure out how to get it to move though.
He did some lovely mods, including a very good Clinchfield enhancement pack, and a redone Gatwick with new (realistic) planes for BML. But, yes, sadly TSW3 killed them, like so many good mods. The switcher was a conversion of the Caltrain MP15DC into a CSX SW1500. A very nice one it was, too, although only available as a sub for the GP38-2
That's a cool little loco. There was a standard gauge version of the real loco that got exported to East Germany. You could really have fun on some of the German routes if that one got made...
