Another one Issue: Class 450 and 444 DMOS always display Notch 1 in the HUD when applying power Cause: The localization key is identical for each notch - this key overrides the names given in the blueprint so they are retrieved from the local .lan file Fix: removed the keys from the blueprints - Notches now displaying correctly. Blueprint already has localization in it. Languages: works for all supported languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Russian and Chinese) Original: Fixed: Enjoy!
As each reskin delivers its own engine blueprint, the fix does not affect them - they would need to be edited too.
ok,np., could you show me which bit of file you edited, there's 9000 lines! Do the DMOC need editing aswell? edit, i think i've done it now, do the other desiro's have same issue(360,185,very old 444/450) torfmeister
I'm terribly sorry, somehow I forgot this thread. You need to open the blueprint, search for "Notch 1", then a few lines below there is a <key> value. You must delete the GUID number that follows, go down to the next notch entry and so on.
I notice the controls are different in the RSC\Class 444 pack and it does not seem to have Notch Indicators.
If there's no notch names specified the percentage of the lever position is displayed. But you can of course add notch displays if you wish to.
That might be handy for I think JT trains, where annoyingly the HUD gives a percentage instead of notch number.
thanks. am i right in thinking this only affects default train, not AP modified 1's(SP/EP) torfmeister
