Verisimilitude contributes to the immersion players demand of TSW. We want everything to look real and TSW2 will be even better . . . with one notable oversight: the "female" avatars. My avatar looks like a man having a bad hair day. Really! Can't you please spend a few hours making the female avatars less unattractive? I love TSW. I've spent more than 300 hours driving trains in TSW. I'm level 96. TSW2, Custom Liveries, and Scenario Planning are going to be great. But honestly -- that strange looking female engineer avatar really needs to be retired. How about it? Please?
The females in the game do look odd along with the males too they just stand there looking weird with the same type of hair depending what time period your in like in the 80's or 90's or the future times. They actually need to revamp the avatars for TSW2
Yeah, the people really need an overhaul. It's difficult because you need something relatively low detailed because of the number of them, but at the same time doesn't look awful up close. Perhaps something more stylised rather then trying to go realistic so you work with the limitations rather then against them. I'd also like to see more variety in passengers, so a mix of ages from kids to older people. Maybe some uniformed platform staff that spawn on the more major stations. Different clothing depending on the time of day and weather. Oh and proper bright 80s fashions on the 1980s routes to take some of the grimness away.
It's like being in a zombie apocalypse as these characterless beings stare at you as you sit in a station, or walk directly at you as you walk around. Then there's the way that crew mates just appear mid route like the shopkeeper from Mr Benn! All a bit weird.
