I know there are a lot of other train issues to fix but: How about we fix the intro on the PS4. I don’t know if the other consoles have this problem but it was better for a few weeks during the last big update (yes I know that brought other big problems) and now it’s broken again. The game loads part of the new intro, it freezes, then plays the old intro. Then it sits on the loading screen and asks you to press any button. Which button is the any button? X, O, the option/start button? The intro sits so long on that loading screen that I don’t know which button press is the one that works. How long do I sit on that screen before I try another button? When your told to press a button you’d expect a pretty quick response but it doesn’t happen at start up. Anyway I know there other bigger TSW issues I just thought I’d throw it out there. Regular base model PS4.

Just a case of spamming them all. I find the D pad the most reliable, but not perfect as still often has to be spammed a lot.

#mini-game. 'Press any button' just not that one your pushing. Gets you in that frustrated mood to play!

I always use the circle button because if I spam either x or triangle (forget which) then it loaded into the dovetail live which took even longer to exit

For me it works fine, but before it was fixed I found L1 and R1 to work best.
I haven't had that yet, I'll look out for it.

Rotate right stick round and round. Works very well and quickly into game.

The amount of press's required to just get to the menu is ridiculous! The matter is compounded by the non responsive "press any key"!!

Do we really need 2 intro videos???

I always press the "o", and if the "press any button" loses brightness is it because it recognizes that I press the button, if not? I press it again, but I always hit the "o"

I usually find O works best, but the trick is hitting it as soon as the screen appears. If you wait a second or two, it seems like the effort of playing the intro videos slows the system down so much, it can't cope with recognising key presses.

Ideal world scenario would be replacing the awful collage intro with a simpler DTG logo and then having a checkbox in the settings for "Play intro video" which everyone could/would turn off after the first time. It could always re-enable it if they update the video to a shiny new one so we don't miss out, then we could turn it off again. It's not like TSW doesn't have history in re-enabling settings that we turn off... :)

Would also be nice to be logged in to DTLive without having to cancel the crappy Mastery pop-up every time you start the game. There's a menu option where we can check our progress, that's all we need. Maybe also add a "Show DTLive popup at startup" setting to help us remove even more of the unnecessary key presses standing between us and actual gameplay.

The mastery pop up no longer happens on start up.

Does for me. Did you log out of DTLive? Or have I missed an update?!

Thanks for opening this thread. I used to spam X bottom.
Also it’s true that somehow it worked fine a week ago
