On a lot of S-Bahn lines in the state of Northrhine Westfalia, there are nowadays FLIRT 3XL trains made by stadler. I suggest this as loco DLC for Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr. They drive on the S2, S3, S9, RB 32, RB 40, RE 49 and RE 34. With that loco, we should also have a new timetable for HRR. It should include the following layers: Long-Distance trains: The ICE 3 and ICE 1 on Fernverkehr, stopping at Duisburg - (Mülheim) - Essen - Bochum The BR 101 and IC coaches (and IC cab car ) Regional trains: The BR 146 and Dostos, stopping at Duisburg - Mülheim - Essen - Wattenscheid - Bochum The FLIRT 3XL on the said lines The BR 422 as AI for the S6 The BR 422 on the S1, stopping at all stations along the route except for Mülheim-West Railtour The BR 103 with old IC coaches, doing a railtour with the same stopping patterns as the Fernverkehr Freight and other AI The Vectron/BR 185/BR 155 hauling some freight at night Some freight waggons populating the yards at Mülheim BR 422 and FLIRT 3XL on the S-Bahn Betriebswerk in Essen Some technical data about the train: And a youtube video:
